I was searching online for a small, calming restaurant in Ikebukuro, and when I found this place, I decided to try it for the first time. When you enter the basement, you will be greeted by a sign that says ``Yottoko''. When you enter the store, there is a counter and a tatami room, and even though it was a weekday night, it was crowded with customers. Fortunately, there was a seat available and I was immediately guided to the tatami room. When I asked the staff, they recommended the limited edition Shiso Sake, so I ordered the ``Shiso Sake with Ginger Ale''. It was easy to drink, even for a woman like me, and it had a refreshing and refreshing taste. For the salad, I ordered the one that bears the store's name, ``Yottoko Salad.'' When I received the salad, it looked better than I had imagined, and I was excited! The taste was refreshing and very delicious. When ordering other menu items, ask the staff for recommendations. The clerk was also very kind and greeted me with a smile. The ``broiled mackerel'' was thick and juicy, and I devoured it in no time. The firm taste of mackerel goes well with alcohol. ``Chicken grilled with herbs'' is unusual for Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) menu, so I was nervous about what it would be like, but it was amazing to see authentic grilled chicken with herbs! have become.
