I'm a big fan of Teppan-yaki, and this restaurant in Ura-Harajuku has long been my favorite. Most dishes are served as a course, but the appetizers are delicious and are creatively made using seasonal ingredients. Also, one of the signature menu items is scallops with sea urchin sauce. The sauce on this dish is exquisite, and it goes well with the scallops grilled on an iron plate, giving it an indescribable deliciousness. For the main meat, you can choose sirloin or fillet, but when I'm alone, I always go for fillet, but when I'm with two or more people, if you order both, they'll share it with you. It is served medium-rare, but the soy sauce-based sauce makes you think that the meat is really delicious. Also, I love this garlic rice, I can't get enough of it, and sometimes I just want to eat it. I always get a large portion. The dessert at the end is also carefully finished, and the wine can be said to be one of the main stars at Teppan-yaki. It was chosen by the owner who is also a wine connoisseur, and they have a good selection of wines.Although I only have a limited knowledge of wine, I enjoy talking with the owner about wine. That's why, among the many Teppan-yaki restaurants out there, this is one that I definitely recommend considering the balance between price and taste.
