As you enter the approach in the back alley of Nishi-Azabu, you will see a small sign that says ``Sei''. A special hideout where you won't believe there is a sushi restaurant here. When you press the intercom to unlock the door and step inside, you'll find yourself in a warm and beautiful space with a chic atmosphere. When you sit at the 8-seat plain wood counter, your line of sight is at the same height as the cutting board, giving you a sense of realism. In the space where you can enjoy food and conversation without any unnecessary things, the owner and customers have fun interactions every day.

The owner has a stance that breaks away from the notions and boundaries of what it means to be a sushi restaurant, and is open to anything necessary to enhance the flavor. He always changes the preparation of the fish in front of him, observing its condition. As a culmination of the day's efforts, exquisite nigiri sushi and sake snacks are served alternately. Of course, it's all about how to make the most of the finest ingredients, but more than anything, the sight of the owner enjoying making the sushi is what brings out the flavor even more. Born in 1975 in Tokyo. He has loved cooking since he was a child, and has worked part-time at a restaurant since he was in high school, and after graduating, he decided to pursue a career in sushi. At the age of 26, he was entrusted with the restaurant, and from the age of 32, he worked as a manager at a sushi restaurant in Nishi-Azabu for 10 years. In August 2018, "Naru" opened in full, and the second floor of restaurant, which welcomes you in a three-story house, is a reserved private room that the owner is particular about. Based on the idea that "fun and delicious are equal", there are also special menus in private rooms that you can't usually find at sushi restaurants. Every time I go there, I get more and more excited.
