My friend had made a reservation, so I was invited to come, so I came to Nokoko Nishiazabu. Since I arrived a little early, I thought about working at a cafe, but there were no cafes with electrical outlets. I did the country move of walking back to McDonald's in Roppongi, wondering if this was Nishi-Azabu. A side note. TOYAMA was selected as a Michelin Selected Restaurants at the end of last year. The price range is low, as the name suggests, Western Cuisine." This time I had it as a course. The appetizers are followed by dishes using ingredients from Kumamoto, where the owner is from. The mackerel carpaccio was served with strawberries and went well with the sourness. Special minced meat cutlet from Galantine. The demi-glace sauce and juicy gravy are delicious. And the specialty "Consomme Royale Soup". This is delicious. It's truly a specialty item. It had chawan mushi, rich consommé soup, and plenty of truffles. The scent was irresistible. After drinking white wine, today's fish dish was sauteed sole and Oyster with escargot sauce. I'm glad because I didn't expect to be able to eat Oyster. The main dish is Steak made with Wao, a premium brand of Kumamoto's Kuroge Wagyu beef. It was rich in sweet fat. I wasn't in the mood for red wine, so I had sake. I ordered Hana no Kaori, an alcoholic beverage made by the famous Hana no Kaori Sake Brewery. Apparently it's a local brand from Kumamoto. It was a delicious sake with a sweet aroma reminiscent of pear and lychee. Considering the location, I feel this price is reasonable. I think it's a nice restaurant with a simple Western Cuisine style feel. The a la carte menu was also extensive, so next time I would like to try Hamburg a la carte.
