This is a fine restaurant that serves unpretentious yet Local Cuisine from all over Italy. Triangular area on the north side of Juban, between Azabu Library, Jonathan, and ELETOKYO. The entrance is small, but the long structure has plenty of seating, and the tables in the back are comfortable enough for families to sit (although there doesn't seem to be a children's menu). The menu changes with seasonal ingredients, so order à la carte while looking at the blackboard. Since the dish I was interested in was included in the omakase appetizer, I was able to order pasta and a main dish afterwards for a reasonable price. Today's menu gave the impression that both Japanese ingredients were put to good use, with the quality of the ingredients at the fore, and locally-sourced ingredients carefully modified to differentiate the dishes. Chef's Omakase Appetizer Iloilo: ・Carpaccio of Ishigaki Dai, directly delivered from Oita. Fresh and meaty.・Sicilian salad with Italian cucumber, homemade smoked herring, and orange.・Excellent Norwegian baccalara (salt cod) mantecato (a real one unlike any other). Made with kneaded dried cod paste, it seems to be a standard winter snack in Venice. This was my first time having it, and it had an interesting taste and texture, with the fibers of the rehydrated cod and the soft milk base.・Oven-baked high quality European mushrooms and smoked cheese. There are also chopped mushrooms inside.・Oil-based spaghetti with clams and clams.・Salmon cream sauce spaghetti.・Okinawa Agu's bincho charcoal grill. The pasteurization is also a beautiful pink color and the cut is sharp, giving it the feel of a professional job. Of course, the taste is also unmistakable.
