もう20年も前から来るまで外苑西通りを通る時に気になっていたお店。
最近コース料理に飽き飽きしてアラカルトで頼める店に行きたくて仕方ない。コース料理で出される料理が本当に面白く感じなくなってきていて、楽しい時間を過ごすには少し物足りない気持ちになってしまいます。
量の問題では無いですね。コース料理が面白いエクスペリエンスでは無くなってしまっています。量も多すぎたりするのは好みでは無いですし。ラーメンをガッツリと食べにいくわけでは無いわけですから…。
多分、コース料理を想像できない時は本当に楽しかったのだけど、いろいろ食べていて、想像できるようになってしまうと次のメニューの内容が意外性の範疇ではなくて想定内のものが出てくるようになって来てしまうのです。
そうすると「おーーー！」と思っていたものが「はい、想定内ね。」になると面白くない。こう言う思考回路では、コースがこなしのプロセスになって行きます。
多分、時代背景としてもそうかも知れないですし、グルメの人たちの嗜好の変遷プロセスとしても、コース食べて飽きてしまうと、きっとそうなるのではないかと思ってしまいます。
その店の工夫された積み重ねの美味しい料理をダイレクトにメニューから読んでオーダーする方が楽しみになります。
そう、ぐるっと回ってアラカルトです。
ミシュランとか関係なく、ファンシーな高級店とか関係なく、美味しい、ここだけのお店を探し始めてしまいます。
こちらのお店は、ビストロやブラッスリーやトラットリアなどを探していたら引っかかってきたスペインバルの老舗。
ワインもたくさんバイザグラスで出してくれるし、オリジナルに進化した串焼きなんかもう本当に美味い。スパイス使いにトルコや中東の雰囲気までしてくる素晴らしい味わいです。
お店は立地面からも何度か来ているような人が多くてとても素敵なフレンドリーな接客。また来たくなるそんないいお店。駅からは遠いけど、店前を通るタクシーはたくさんあるので飲んだ後はタクシーで帰りましょう。
やはりスペインは赤ワインでテンプラニージョのグラスが素晴らしかったです。コストパフォーマンスも抜群。
