日比谷線の広尾駅を出てすぐのところにあるお店で、前々から気になってはいた。
広尾に用事が出来たので、今日入ってみることにした。
店に上がる階段にカーペットホルダーがあって、欧州感がある。
店に入ると店員は親切な感じ。
雰囲気は気取りすぎず、ラフでもなく、ちょうどいいムード。
こういう洒落た店は間々あるのだが、たいてい作りたてのピカピカで落ち着かない事が多い。しかしこの店はイイ感じに全てが経年しており、かといって古すぎでもなく、わざとらしくないレトロな味がある。気に入った。
この居心地は、かつて仕事でヨーロッパに暮らしていた時にもレストランで時々感じたものだ。懐かしい。
料理はスターターに口を付けた時点で安心した。美味しい。メインもボリュームがあり、こちらも文句無しに美味しかった。
それ以前に…この店は厨房が見渡せる造りになっているのだが、そこで手慣れた様子で調理をするコックの真剣な顔つき、料理に向き合うマジメな態度・手つきを見て、この店は「間違いない」と見て取れてもいた。
とても良い時間、そしてどこか懐かしい時間を過ごさせてもらった。次は家族を連れてこようと思う。
周りの客もこの店のムードに合わせるかのようにリラックスしていたのも、印象に残った。
いい店とはこういうものだ。
