西新橋にオープンしたビルの２階にあります愛媛・道後で参りましたお店の新店舗。西新橋であり、駅では、内幸町駅か虎ノ門駅になり、三田線日比谷駅で下車すると、日比谷公園の北東端から南西端まで最大距離を歩くことになるとんでもない場所にもかかわらず、何故か「日比谷」を名乗るビルです。ランチでも高級路線ですが、愛媛で頂いた鯛めしの味を思い出しながら、お尋ねすると、一人でも入店可とのことで、靴を預けて、隣とは間仕切りの無いカウンター席に案内されます。隣に客が入らない内に頂けそうな単品の鯛めし1870円（松山では1600円でした）を頼みます。セットメニューを勧められますが、間仕切り無い席に長居はできず、単品で押しきり、４分でお盆。写メの隙を与えられずに、食べ方の指導があり、おしぼりを使わないまま、玉子撹拌、鯛投入、大葉をおしぼりを使わないままの手でちぎり、海藻も投入、ご飯をお櫃から移し、鯛を載せ、出汁をかける工程まで行いまして、実食の許可。旨いです。出汁を足して、ズズ。この工程を三度行いまして、高級感あるお新香、濃い赤だし豆腐入りも頂きます。卓上に調味料は無く、13分で来た伝票に「帰れコール」を感じ、急いで食べきり、出汁は少し残して、お茶を啜り、四人組会食客の入店を契機に、キャッシュ・レス決済して、滞在時間18分ですが、濃厚接触はありません。キャッシュレス決済すると、レシートもありませんので、経費では落ちません。
