"Marco", popular in Sangenjaya and Shimokitazawa, is opening its first store in Toranomon! The restaurant name ``Rakui'' was chosen not only because it is the group's seventh restaurant, but also because we want people to enjoy their food and be happy. While valuing Japanese culture and Japanese-style meal, we have updated it in the Rakui style. We offer new and exciting dishes that will make you feel relieved. We use farm-direct ingredients and fresh seafood delivered from all over the country. We value seasonal ingredients and serve carefully crafted dishes that are "more than Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), but less than a kappo restaurant."

We also focus on rice dishes, and our two major specialties are ``earthen pot rice'' and `` Sushi'' made with care by our chefs. The rice used is specially cultivated Koshihikari rice from Iwafune, Niigata Prefecture, which is said to be ``the best rice for side dishes in Japan.'' Sushi is based on classic Edomae Sushi with a little extra effort, but with a playful touch typical of Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). We assess the condition of the ingredients and bring out their flavor by changing the way they are cut or aging them. Earthen pot rice is a perfect combination of fluffy cooked rice and toppings! Tea splitting is an original drink by arranging "tea", an important Japanese culture, in a comfortable way. We offer new ways to enjoy it by mixing it with shochu or whisky, such as ``Corn Shochu x Hige Tea'' and ``Coffee Shochu x Black Moji Tea''!
