年末年始のグルメ活動はホテルに限る。単純に、ホテルは３６５日営業しているから狙い目なのです。ちなみに、インド料理や中華料理など正月が１月１日ではない国の料理も狙い目です。ということで、やってきたのは元祖御三家の１つであるホテルニューオータニ。1977年からレストランに参加しているとんかつ店の『ふみぜん』をご紹介してまいりましょう。ホテルの格の高さと立地なのでしょう、歴代の首相や各界の著名人が多数訪れたんだとか。
メニューを開くと「名物」のコーナーあり。
さぞ、自慢のとんかつを宣伝すると思いきや１つも見当たりません。笑 言わずもがなということかもしれませんね。敢えて、名物の中から「大根サラダ」と「豚生姜焼」をいただきます。
とんかつにおいても銘柄豚が自慢ですが、生姜焼きにおいても千葉のロイヤル三元豚が使われているのだとか。厚みのあるロース肉を使っているので存在感が抜群。玉ねぎの甘味がたっぷりのタレで、生姜よりもこちらが強調されます。読後感には強い甘味が残ります。サラダは、シャキシャキの大根に創業から守り続けるというドレッシングをたっぷり。ご馳走様でした！
