早めに日本橋近辺で仕事を終え、どこか無いかと物色していたがいつもの日銀通りまで帰ってきてしまった。しかも行こうと思った店は、「店長のお母さんの誕生日のためランチお休み」だとぉ！そんなもん理由になるかっ！
ということで普段生きそうも無い店を探す。てんぷら板忠。場所はカツダイニングの奥の路地にひっそりとある。店の入口を囲むように生け垣があり入りにくくしている。
意を決して入店。店にはカウンターに先客一人。「どちらでもどうぞ」という女将さんの案内でカウンターに陣取る。メニューはカウンタの上のテーブルテント。

夜は飲み放題で10,000円、お任せ飲み物別で5,000円なので日本橋の天ぷら屋としてはまあまあの価格。
このような店で安い物を頼んで満足したためしがないので1500円の天丼にする。穴子丼にも野菜天は載るようだが天丼の方が外さないだろう。
先に小鉢登場だが、わかめポン酢と漬け物登場。わかめポン酢なんて出てくるんだぁと思いつつ漬けものを囓るとこちらは美味しい。
待つこと暫しで天丼登場。これは凄い！ごはんが見えないだけで無く天ぷらの上に天ぷらが載っているようでしかも黒い！
八ッ手屋なんて比べものにならない位黒い。
具材を見てみよう。海老天小さい物が２本、穴子天１本、かき揚げ１、ミョウガ１、かぼちゃ１、なす１、獅子唐１。凄いボリュームである。しかもみんな黒いタレを潜って黒い。
味はややしょっぱいもののご飯と良く合う味で嫌いではない。
穴子は小さく肉厚も無かったが、掻き揚げは大きく小柱がゴロゴロ入っており美味しい。
味噌汁はしじみ。しじみはそんなに小ぶりでは無い物が１８個全て身入りで入っていた。
デザートにオレンジでサッパリとさせてくれる。
聞くと小柱の掻き揚げは1500円の丼は付くとのこと。ちょっと高いが000円ではなく1500円にして正解でした。
目立たない店だが味はしっかりしている。
