Today I went to ``Little Butcher'' for lunch. This is a Western Western Cuisine bar located right next to Asakusabashi Station (Photo 1). Photo 2 is the lunch menu that was displayed in front of the store. Since I had checked the menu and prices in advance, I knew it would probably be busy at lunchtime, so I made sure to arrive a little after the 11:30 opening time. There was only one other customer so I was led to a counter seat, but by the time I finished eating, the place was full, so it was as expected. I ordered the "Roast Beef Mountain (¥1,000)" which is only available for one day. Salads and hors d'oeuvres arrived soon (pictured). Even though the lunch was only 1,000 yen, it was a great value.The salad was well prepared and the hors d'oeuvres were of high quality. After another 5 minutes, the main roast beef bowl and dessert arrived (Photo 4). As you can see in the photo, there is a heaping amount of roast beef. As the menu name suggests, it's "mountain"! The roast beef was cold, and there was warm rice hidden under the meat. There was plenty of meat and it was satisfying to eat. In cases like this, I tend to have too much of the wazabi or mustard that comes with it, but I didn't have that. I used up the wasabi by adding it to the meat when I ate it. Overall, this performance is a great deal for 1,000 yen. I guess the limited menu is proof of that. What's more, I paid with PayPay, and with the campaign, I got 20% points back, so this lunch actually cost ¥800. I thought afterwards that it would have been nice if it came with coffee (^^)
