2022年1月のとある土曜日の18時過ぎに訪ねた。
鶯谷駅から徒歩3分ほどの場所にある居酒屋「呑兵衛 鴬谷店」。
程好い広さの店内は3割程度客で埋まっていた。
カウンター席に1人で座りスーパードライの生ビールである「555ジョッキ」¥750を注文。
お通しは練り物とこんにゃく、野菜を煮たもの。かなり味付けが濃い。
海鮮系のつまみで酒が飲みたかったので料理を注文。
賀正三点盛 ¥880：マグロ、ブリ、イカの三点盛りと聞いて注文したが、サーモントラウトを加えた四点盛りで提供してくれた。程好い厚みの刺身で良い塩梅の盛り合わせ。880円で楽しめる刺身盛合せとしてはお得感がある。特にマグロとブリが良い感じ。ビールを飲んだ後は「ふぐひれ酒」¥550に切り替えて正月らしい酒を楽しみ、刺身をしっかりと味わう。
するめいか肝焼き ¥750：鉄板に乗って提供されるするめいか肝焼き。濃厚な肝の味が楽しめるが、塩気は強め。ねぎの存在が爽やかな後味にしてくれる。ひれ酒にも合ういかのつまみを堪能。
女性の店員さんの接客も良い感じで居心地の良い居酒屋であった。
THE居酒屋なメニューが程好い値段で揃っているので、1人でも仲間同士でも楽しめる駅近くの「呑兵衛」。
