花見オフ会の終着点は江戸蕎麦の「向島七福すずめの御宿」へ。花街の造りの店内で会席に。
椀物や煮物は、蓋を開けるとたちのぼる芳香がかぐわしい。椀物は筍と鯛の葛打ちで出汁もよくできています。お造りは参加者たちに好評でしたが、塩でも食べられるのが個人的には気に入りました。焼物が鰻くりから焼きと若竹煮なのは季節を踏まえていて好評。鰻くりから焼きなんて、筆者はよく食べているけど知らない人たちには初めてだし。天ぷらは８種、ウリにしていることを考慮すればもっと精進が必要。 コースに含まれていると思っていた江戸蕎麦が含まれていなかったので追加注文して食べ比べ。浸け汁が違うだけのようです。蕎麦自体は十割だけあって美味しかったです。
単に懐石のコースとして見ると、この内容をこの価格で出してくれる日本料理店は大森「みこころや」くらい、と考えると、コスパは高いのかもしれない。最寄駅からもっと近ければ、通ってみたい店です。
