About 10 minutes walk from Oshiage Station. There were 2 customers ahead of me when I visited around 3pm on a holiday. Since it was summer vacation, I waited in line at every restaurant in the Sky Tree, wondering when I would get in, so I wandered around looking for a place to rest... Luckily, I was able to find a hidden cafe in a residential area. I did. Today's order Rich Cafe Au Lait (Hot) Baked Cheesecake The dimly lit interior contrasted with the glaring sunlight outside, and that alone was very soothing. Since it was my first time using the restaurant, I didn't know what to expect so I wandered around, but it seems like they have a system where you pick up the menu on the wall and once you decide, you order at the table. The food menu looked delicious, but since I was full, I decided to have a drink and something sweet today. I was waiting while looking outside, and within 10 minutes, coffee was served first, followed by cake. The cup has a unique shape and is cute. When the rich cheesecake is dipped in the marmalade jam that comes with it, it has a slight bitterness and a refreshing sourness, giving it a summery taste. The cookies are topped with fresh cream and have a crunchy cinnamon flavor. I ate the fresh cream that was served at the bottom with the cookies, but it was a bit sweet, so I felt that it would be better if it was a little less sweet so it wouldn't compete with the sweetness of the cookies. The cafe au lait had a stronger coffee flavor than I expected and went well with the cake. I only stayed for about an hour because I had other plans, but I had a very relaxing time. The food menu looked delicious, so if I have a chance, I would definitely visit again.
