The eel we purchase from Osumi Unagi (Kanoya City, Kagoshima Prefecture) is carefully grilled over Bincho charcoal. It goes perfectly with rice cooked in Nanbu ironware.

Ingredients from Kagoshima such as [Superb Amberjack (pictured in pickled bowl)] from Obama Suisan in Tarumi City, Kagoshima Prefecture, [Black Satsuma Chicken] from Daizen Farm in Ibusuki City, and [Sakurajima Biyubuta] from Osumi Meat in Tarumi City. There are also a la carte dishes that use it.
