蒲田にある「余市」で、定食1,380円を食べた。西口のハッピーロードの一本線路側にある海鮮食堂。
定食は店名を謳う余市定食で、カスベとタコ刺しがメインの北海道の食材を使用したもの。ザンギや肉じゃがはそうなのかと疑問が残るが、タコ刺しはみずみずしくて美味しい。サラダと味噌汁が付いてくるが、思ったほどは北海道らしさが無いものだった。
