自由が丘のビルの６階にある落ち着いた雰囲気のお店。夜は鉄板焼きがメインだそうです。
昼のメニューは多彩です。洋食系の料理もありましたが、尾花沢牛のステーキがお得とのことで、そちらを選びました。
山形県の尾花沢は雪深い土地。春に電車で通った際もかなりの積雪でした。それに因んで尾花沢の牛肉は霜降りではなく雪降りと呼ぶそうです。
ただ、昼食に選んだのは雪降りではなく赤身のランプです。スライスされて出てきたので箸で頂きました。ラギオールのナイフの出番はなし。このランプ、絶妙の火の通りの美味しい肉でした。
皿に盛られた塩と胡椒で食べるのが好みですが、醤油ベースのソースも別に出てきます。
付合せのニンニクはカリカリ。そして白菜はシャキシャキ。白菜とステーキとの相性は意外と良かったです。他にご飯、味噌汁、漬物のセットを選びました。
ご主人は以前は帝国ホテルで仕事をされていたそうです。それを彷彿させる上品なランチでした。
