This is Manuel's new shop in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo. At night, this is a Portuguese Cuisine that mainly serves small plates. We also do it during the day. Visited on a Friday night. (What I ate) Rabbit coentrada 1,200 yen Rabbit thigh covered in coriander Rabbit stock sauce ⇒It was my first time having rabbit, so I couldn't help but order it. A cold dish with noticeable carrots and coriander. The rabbit meat felt elastic, probably due to its jumping ability. I don't particularly dislike coriander, but I was a little fed up with it because there was so much of it. When I looked back at the menu, it was covered in coriander. I was so worried about the rabbit that I overlooked it. Sardine Asado 550 yen Simply grilled with fresh onion sauce ⇒Simple and delicious. The sauce is also delicious. Bacalhau a Brache 1,800 yen Bacalhau (dried cod) and french fries with egg ⇒I've been to Portugal three times, and I only remember eating bacalhau like Croquette. I think the ingredients are dried fish and cod, and the impression is influenced by the taste of the sauce. It was delicious. Bacalhau is a simply seasoned Croquette, so some people may not like the unique smell of dried fish. I was just barely safe (not the taste I was actively looking for). The beer is called Coral, a beer from Madeira. I have never been to Madeira Island, a small island in the Atlantic Ocean about 970 km southwest of Lisbon and 650 km west of Morocco on the African continent. Mainland Portugal's beer industry seems to be dominated by two companies, Sagres (produced near Lisbon in the south-central region) and Super Bock (produced in Porto in the north), and Coral is only occasionally seen, but Coral is more available in Japan. Is it easy? I received a glass of Portuguese wine, red and white. Vinho Verde (green) was also on the menu.
