Hercule in Senzoku. A French cuisine Restaurants opened here six months ago by the chef of Le Petit Boudon in Daikanyama. It is located on the second floor of a building called Rive Rokubankan, close to the station. The restaurant is chic and features a long counter seating. On the day I visited, the chef was the only one in charge, and I had selection course for 12,000 yen. 【 MENU 】 Amuse bouche Appetizer: Low-temperature cooked Norwegian salmon with carrot sauce Marinated smoked seafood and mushrooms Soup: Beetroot and turnip potage Palate cleanser: Champagne and plum wine granita Fish dish: Steamed flounder with seaweed sauce and root vegetables Meat Dishes: Lamb saddle and thigh cooked in different ways Consommé rice Cheese (6 types and up) Dessert: Orange zanguine espuma Chocolate dessert Tea sweets: Matcha canelé Fig financier Langue de chat red bean paste yuzu Coffee There was a set of champagne, white wine, and red wine, so I had that. They poured a generous amount so I thought it would be enough, but I had an additional glass of white wine. Including tea sweets, there were 11 dishes, which was very filling. We were given a complimentary dish at dessert, so it was actually 12 dishes. I was full. The style of the food was classical French cuisine. It had a solid base and a heavy feel.
