2019年7月7日、雨の日曜日の午後2時過ぎ、お昼のお店を探して吉祥寺をうろうろうろ。行きたい店はいくつかあったのだけれど場所が遠く、次の予定までの時間がなくなってきたため（それでもしばらくうろうろしたけど）、ここに入店。店外のお品書きに書かれた一番人気というスフレオムレツが気になって♪事前情報なしの店に入るのはひっさしぶりです。
入店して「予約なしですけど一人大丈夫ですか？」と尋ねる。……えー、ここで「お待ちください」と言われたかどうかは覚えていないですが、尋ねた相手の店員さんが引っ込んだっきりちょっととしばらくの間くらいの時間、戻ってきませんでした。席を準備してくれていたみたいなんですけど、そういうことを言ってくれなかったから、大丈夫かどうか確認しに行って時間がかかっていると思い不安になりました。「（予約なしでも）大丈夫です」とか一言でも言ってくれればよかったのに。最近こういう店多いなあ、とグチってみる。
外から見える店の内観は木や白黒ベースの（うろ覚えです。インテリア間違っていたらすみません）カジュアルな印象だったのですが、通された奥は青や緑、白がベースの落ち着いた静かな雰囲気。カウンターも広いし、おお、なかなか好み。先ほどの接客で下がった印象が戻る。
パスタランチのラインナップも魅力的だったのですが、時間もないし初志貫徹。オムレツ単品の注文でいいかと確認すると、「大きいですけど小さくしますか？」と聞かれました。おや、ココットみたいなので小さいのが出てきたらおなかすくかなあ、とか考えていたのに意外。「小さくしても値段は変わらないですか？」と聞く度胸はなかったので、そのままのサイズでいいと注文。小さくしたらいくらになってたんだろう。そこまで言ってほしかったと店員さんに要求するのは無茶というものでしょうか。
さて、ほどなくしてオムレツが運ばれて……でかっ！確かにでかかったわ。横30センチくらいあったのではなかろーか。昔有楽町でふわふわオムレツを食べたときのことを思い出す。あれは文句なく美味しかったけどやっぱり大きくて途中で飽きてきちゃったんだよなー……。というわけで今回の戦法はだた一つ。飽きる前に食べきる！！
さていただきます。おお、美味しい。卵はふわふわ、かかっているクリームソースやチーズも美味しい。ふわふわしているけれど焼けているところは香ばしく、はやりの（？）ふわふわパンケーキを食べているかのような感覚。このクオリティならナンバーワンメニューなのも頷けます。
大き目のスプーンでぱくぱく。この分なら一気に食べきれるかと思ったけど……甘かった。最初三分の一は美味しくいただき、その後三分の一はそこそこ美味しくいただき、次の六分の一は頑張っていただき、ラスト六分の一はほとんど苦行でした。意地とプライド（私はフードファイターでもなんでもないですけど）にかけて完食しましたけど、美味しく最後まで食べてあげられなくてごめんなさい。
さて、お会計の前におトイレ……というのは、テーブルに紙ナプキンもおしぼりも何もないので、仕方なしにトイレで整えようかと。トイレはスタッフ専用のドアの次のドアです。正直まぎらわしい設計。
おトイレから戻ってきたら、お冷が追加されていて、かつ下げられたお皿のかわりに（？）おしぼりが。えーと、これは忘れていたんですよね、きっと？会計はテーブルごとでカード使用可でした。その際店員さんに「おしぼり忘れていたんですか？」と笑顔で聞いてみちゃいましたよ。食後のおしぼりの存在価値って食前の半分以下だと思いますがねえ。
そんなこんながあったので、サービスは低めにしました。雰囲気は接客と不可分ですのでびみょーなラインですけど、内装は気に入ったのでそこそこに。
この手のサービスの店はもう訪問しないのが私の基本ですけど、もう一度味わってみたいと思える料理でしたので、再訪するかもしれません。改善して欲しいところ多いけど……（たとえ改善されても一度定着した悪い印象はぶっちゃけぬぐえないけど）。なにはともあれごちそうさまです。
