Remarks |
[From Nakano Keizai Shimbun] Owner Ota Yoshiaki, who used to be a bartender at Two Piece at Fureai Road, north exit of Nakano Station, which sadly closed in September 2016, and co-owner Matsuoka Hiroki, who runs Ramen shop, etc., hit it off and created the bar with the concept of "a stylish Japanese Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) with delicious Japanese-style meal." They sell sashimi and oden dishes that are bought by the bottle and prepared in the shop, and in addition to sake and shochu, they also focus on original sours. There are 31 seats in total, with 10 Standing bar on the first floor and 21 tables on the second floor, including 6 seats on a raised platform. The staff includes Tony, a pastry chef who ran Chocolate bar Tony in Nakano 5-chome, which closed last July, and all three live in Nakano Ward. The food menu focuses on sashimi (from 300 yen) such as sea bream and yellowtail, which the owner purchases and prepares daily, as well as 10 types of oden (from 100 yen) such as daikon radish, egg, and grilled tofu, as well as a la carte dishes such as Dashimaki tamago (rolled Japanese style omelette) (400 yen) and seared chicken with leek and ponzu sauce (450 yen), grilled foods such as grilled shishamo (shishamo smelt) (390 yen) and salt-grilled mackerel (450 yen), deep-Fried food such as homemade fried tofu and homemade Croquette (all 300 yen), hot pots such as yudofu (boiled tofu) (500 yen) and kimchi jjigae hotpot (600 yen), and other dishes such as yakisoba (Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) with sauce) and mitsuboshi rice (all 450 yen). The drink menu includes beers such as "draft beer" and "red eye" (both 480 yen), "white and black Hoppy set" (450 yen), Japanese sakes such as "Kiku Masamune", "Echigo Kagetora", and "Gokyo", whiskeys, shochu, wines, soft drinks such as mango juice, and original sours such as "Mitsuboshi Lemon Sour" made with French lemon puree, lemon sorbet, and sugarcane syrup. "I was originally a Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), so I wanted to make a Japanese Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that not only has delicious dishes and sashimi, but also delicious Japanese-style meal," said Ota. "Nogata has many delicious restaurants and I often go there, but there are many yakiton and yakitori restaurants. I wanted to make a delicious Japanese-style meal Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) myself," said Tony. "I'm researching how I can one day serve Chocolate that goes well with Japanese-style meal here, so please look forward to it." Business hours are from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. the next day. |

Mitsuboshi Japanese Izakaya is an izakaya where you can enjoy seasonal fish and oden, which the owner purchases every day, along with carefully selected alcoholic beverages. There is a wide variety of |
Twitter ID: jigenace777 Instagram ID: jigenace777 Mitsuboshi is a casual Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located in the arcade of YOHO ROAD in Nogata. The first floor is a Standing bar bar with an L-shaped counter, and the second floor has tables and a raised area. ◆Oden platter The owner is from Kagawa, so the oden does not use soy sauce. It is simple and refreshing. The hanpen (fish cake) has a melting texture and is extremely large. ◆Mame-aji nanban It was quite well made. ◆Lightly pickled myoga and cucumber A refreshing drink. ◆Riku Kirin Seagram's Japanese whiskey. ◆Ichiban Shibori Tori-Bee. I just dropped by, and the menu is quite extensive, including oden, sashimi, and more. The owner also runs Ramen shop in Hirai, and apparently started running Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) after that. Seafood is sourced from Toyosu, so it is authentic. The atmosphere is great and it's a place I can safely recommend in Nogata.
