Year-end party with close friends from work. (This is the day I finish work.) It's a small Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located down a narrow alley. It's close to Narimasu Station. We were guided to a tatami room on the second floor and toasted with beer. Since it's a Seafood Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), most of the dishes are based on seafood, but they also have Meat Dishes such as fried chicken and meatballs. Start with a wide variety of sashimi. Amberjack, sea bass, flatfish, red sea bream, water octopus, etc. are all fresh and delicious. The fried chicken has a strong seasoning and is fried crispy, which is also delicious! Bittersweet and mellow crab miso, melt-in-the-mouth creamy milt ponzu sauce, and Tempura tempura. It's a delicious dish that can only be enjoyed in winter. I didn't try the thick fried egg, tongue meatballs, or grilled potatoes with mentaiko cheese, but these looked delicious. I got excited and drank a few glasses of sake, getting drunk for the first time in a long time (lol). All of the dishes were home-cooked and full of flavor. Everyone went home satisfied.
