成増駅を北口に降りて、白子川に続く下り坂の北口商店街。商店街とはいっても成増駅南口の商店街に比べてそれほど店の密度は高くないものの、スーパー、パン屋、飲食店など点在しているので、地元の人の利用がメイン。マンションが増えてきているので利用者は増えているはず。
居酒屋が何軒かあるがその中の和風の造りの店。瓦焼きがメインということで、瓦に肉、魚、野菜を載せて焼く料理を出してくれるようだが、普通に刺身、焼き物、揚げ物など基本の料理はいろいろあり、酒の種類も豊富で、居酒屋として使い勝手がよさそう。
カウンター席とテーブル席で大衆居酒屋というよりちょっとおしゃれな雰囲気もありよろしい。わざわざ成増北口商店街まで行ってみる価値があるのではないか。
今日はランチの利用で、日替わり定食780円からミックスフライ定食、グリル定食、海鮮丼など980円まで。今日の日替わりはガバオライスということで、レパートリーの広さを感じる。鶏のひき肉と目玉焼きの載ったご飯。13時を過ぎて、他に客は誰もいなかったが、ゆっくり食事ができた。
