Muroran Yakitori expands to Tokyo!
Kunihiro is a restaurant where you can enjoy Muroran Yakitori, a Hokkaido dish that is not well known in the Kanto region. Although it is called "Yakitori," the meat used is mainly "pork." Onions are |
There is a small white curtain with "Muroran Yakitori Kunihiro" written on it, and I had been curious about this restaurant because it looked so nice. I thought it was just a regular Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) shop, but it seems that Muroran yakitori is actually yakiton. Of course, they also have regular Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), which is delicious, but the one thing you should definitely try is the quail eggs. They even grill them with the shells on, so you can eat them whole. I've had quail eggs with the shells on at Yamatotori in Nakano, but personally I prefer the quail eggs at Kunihiro. The shells were crispy and had a slightly shrimp-like flavor, while the eggs were soft-boiled inside. It was very delicious! Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) was also delicious! Thank you for the meal!
