なんとなく食べログを開いてみると、マイレビさんの美味そうなマグロ丼が目に留まった。
ランチで提供しているとのことなので早速北千住へお出かけ。西口から徒歩5分、スマホがあるが故に迷わず行ける場所である。開店前に着いたので入り口脇に用意されているベンチで待つ。時間ぴったりにお店のスタッフに案内されてカウンター席へ。
一応はメニューを見たが、今回は迷わず「特選本鮪丼」2500円を注文。カウンター内でささっと盛り付けられ、目の前には見ただけでハイクオリティとわかる美味そうな鮪丼が配膳される。期待通り大きな赤海老も乗っている。今日の鮪は宮城県産の本鮪だそうだ。
まず素晴らしいのは、酢飯がツヤツヤ、粒立ちの最高に炊き上げられていて、味付けも強すぎず弱すぎず、鮪との相性も素晴らしい。
鮪は中トロ中心に、大トロ、赤身、中落ちと一通り乗っていて、とろけるような舌触りと旨味が口の中をいっぱいにする。写真では分かりづらいが、エビの下にも切り身と中落ちがたっぷりと盛られていて量的にもかなりある。食べやすいサイズにカットされているのは以前と違うようだ。鮪の量がたっぷりなので、ご飯大盛りにしたい。
一つだけ残念な点をあげれば、鮪やご飯のクオリティーに対して「練りわさび」が釣り合わないこと。まあ、本わさびをすりおろしたものを添えれば値段がグッと上がってしまうのでしょうがないとは思う。
それにしても、この美味さで2500円は安い！店内の雰囲気も、店員さんの応対も落ち着いてくつろげる。ここは夜も是非来て見たいお店である。
