2021年11月8日（月）夕食。
1日村山で仕事。帰りに中央線途中下車夕食。先週の金曜日に続いて国分寺の駅ビルのセレオの9階に行ってみた。この店にしたのは、店の前面に並んでいる見本を眺めて良さそうだと思ったから。特に焼き魚がおいしそうだったから。
百干ご膳（1680円）を注文した。内容は、本日の焼き魚、刺身2点盛合せ、小鉢、お新香、ご飯、味噌汁と書いてあった。ご飯は白米にするか雑穀米にするかと訊かれて雑穀米にした。
ジャズピアノが流れているなと思っていると、デューク・ジョーダンの「サマータイム」が流れた。以前にも書いた気がするが、イントロが素晴らしい演奏。美しい。独創的。このイントロで「サマータイム」が始まるとは誰一人思わないだろう。
やがて出てきた百干ご膳だが、目が点になった。店の外側の見本のさごし西京焼は厚みがあってサイズもあっておいしそうだったのだが、出てきた焼き魚は煮ても似つかぬ薄っぺらさと小ささ。念のために盆を運んできた女性にこの魚は何？と訊くと、あんちょこを確認して、さごしの西京焼だと言う。でもこれどう見ても舌平目なんだけど。食べてみると、どう味わってもバター焼きなんだけど。西京焼きの風味は希薄なんだけど。それでもおいしければまだ良いのだが、こんなに脂が載っていない魚、おいしいわけがない。一方、刺身はまあまあだった。
この百千という店、今検索すると、（株）ニュートーキョーが経営しているようだ。何と。
今日の新感染者は、東京18人、大阪15人、全国では102人だった。
