PR for restaurants |
A small restaurant loved by locals. It has been renovated into a wine and stew restaurant!
The owner is now a senior sommelier. We renovated the restaurant so that you can enjoy delicious homemade dishes with wine. The appeal of stews is that the flavors of the ingredients blend together. P |
Radio Kitchen @ Kokubunji, Tokyo @ Dining Cafe Bar Finally had a chance to visit. The curry and gratin are as delicious as rumored, and I think I'll get addicted to them. The restaurant is located at the T-junction where the road extending east from the rotary at the north exit of JR Chuo Line Kokubunji Station meets Kokubunji Kaido. It is also famous for using a lot of Kokubunji's local vegetables, Kokuveji. The interior of the restaurant is compact, with counter seats, two two-person tables facing the window, and one four-person table and one two-person table on the wall side. There are 20 seats in total, but they have been thinned out as a COVID-19 countermeasure. There is an acrylic panel on the counter. There is a mountain of delicious-looking walnuts on the counter, which Madame said were sent from her parents' home in Ueda, Shinshu. It looks good. The food is curry, chicken and vegetable stew with couscous, two kinds of gratin, and 10 side dishes such as Vietnamese spring rolls, Kokuveji salad, shrimp Ajillo, and cheese assortment. Drinks include coffee, tea, soft drinks such as Matsumotoen Hojicha from Kokubunji, Kokuvegi Red Shiso Squash, and various alcoholic drinks. Wine is available by the bottle as well as today's wine by the glass. Tonight we had the following for two people. ■Kokuvegi Meat Gratin 1,050 yen ■Today's Curry 1,050 yen ■Grilled Fresh Tomatoes with Cheese 700 yen ■Iced Coffee 500 yen The curry is a keema-style curry with eggplant, peppers, zucchini, and boiled eggs, and the mild yet deep flavor is addictive. The gratin is a delicious eggplant and tomato gratin simmering in a glass dish. Since it is a vegetable gratin, it comes with a baguette. The grilled tomatoes with cheese are also served piping hot in a glass dish! The tomatoes are very sweet and delicious! I was happy to have a relaxing dinner in a cozy and delicious restaurant.
