Since the 7th year of Tenmei, we have continued to focus on making "naturally brewed soy sauce made in wooden barrels" using barrels that have been passed down from generation to generation for over 200 years. The yeast that has settled in the barrel creates the unique flavor of Tenchu's soy sauce dishes. The craftsman carefully prepares the moromi in the wooden vat, looks at the quality of the moromi, stirs it repeatedly to encourage ripening, and then determines the right time to squeeze it. Making soy sauce using natural brewing methods that take advantage of the changing temperatures of the four seasons takes time and effort. In order to deliver soy sauce worthy of the name ``No. 1 in Japan.''
