After living in the US for 17 years, he returned to his hometown of Yamanashi Prefecture and learned the basics of customer service at the long-established Ryokan Kozantei Ubuya in Fujikawaguchiko Town. In July 2016, he opened High Spirits (Joukigen). This authentic Seafood Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) makes use of the culinary know-how he gained overseas. His original Seafood dishes, such as the sashimi series that is not eaten with soy sauce, are superb! The owner is fluent in English and will act as a bridge between you and foreigners.
