I have some business to go to Nagoya, and I want to try Nagoya's specialties, especially hitsumabushi, so I visit there. At the Shirakawa Imaike store, you can make a reservation at 10:00 a.m. on the same day, as you can receive a waiting list via online email from 10:00 a.m. The store opens at 11 a.m., and we arrived around 11:05. Secure a table seat on the first rotation. There were quite a few people waiting when I left. I ordered Hitsumabushi (3100 yen including tax). Eel soup and liver soup are sold separately, and soup soup with red soup stock is also sold separately for 300 yen. The total is 3400 yen. First, eat the hitsumabushi as is. The eel is crispy and fatty inside and delicious! Apparently they use the same sauce that has been added to the restaurant since its founding. Next, eat it with green onions, wasabi, and seaweed as condiments. Then, ask the staff to bring you the soup stock and make it into Ochazuke(boiled rice with tea)and eat it. Taste hitsumabushi while enjoying three different ways to eat it. Completed the meal in no time. As expected, the eel and hitsumabushi are delicious. thank you for the food.
