岡崎唯一の星付きのお店とのことで気になっていました。完全予約制なので、お店を空ける日を聞いてそれに合わせて訪問。2名で入店し、ドリンクは生ビール800円が2杯と熱燗1合で1500円でそれを2杯注文して一人25000円です。
魚は愛知県の魚が多く、殆どが熟成させた魚で旨味と甘みが出ていて美味しい。しゃりも赤酢を使い、ご飯の量、硬さといい、ネタとのバランスも良く、間違いなく美味しい。ただ、白身に関してはうーん、そこまでかなー。個人的に美味しかったのが、赤海老、しめ鯖、コハダ。しめ鯖は手渡しで海苔で巻いて渡され、酢の加減、食感も絶妙でした。大間のマグロに関しては赤酢と喧嘩してしまい、個人的には少し残念でした。
ただ、ドリンクの熱燗に関しては純米酒の安いのを頼んだせいか、普通でした。少し高くても最高の料理には最高の冷酒の吟醸酒を頼めば良かったと少し後悔です。最後は甘さと酸味のバランスが絶妙な大粒イチゴです。トータルとしてお腹も結構膨れ、満足です。
評価点に関してはそれぞれ採点方法は違うかと思いますが、なかなか良い金額を払っているので美味しいっていうことは大前提で、その金額を超える感動があるかという私の感覚的なことで決めています。
それを考えると値段相応か少し超えるぐらいなのかなとは思います。
