Premium boiled fish set meal 1,580 JPY The boiled fish is tilefish I had some small errands to take care of and ended up in Nakama City after finishing (≧▽≦) I thought the restaurant looked rather impressive so I visited this one instead of the one I wanted to go to It appears to be a new restaurant and the interior is nice and clean I like the slightly formal atmosphere but... The tilefish is facing the wrong way In Japanese-style meal, the head of saltwater fish is supposed to be on the left (the stomach is towards you) except for flounder, and for river fish the head is also on the left (or rather the back is apparently towards you) as a rule? Do the chefs who serve Japanese-style meal cuisine not know the etiquette of Japanese-style meal? Or are they annoyed that I came because [for funerals, the head is sometimes on the right]?
