JR芦屋駅からは歩くと20分はかかるでしょうか？岩園町の坂をすこし上ったところにある小さなお店です。土曜日11時過ぎに伺いましたがすでに店内は半分程度座席が埋まっていました。その後も入店が続き11時半ごろには満席になり、退店時には10人以上の行列になってました。
芦屋では少し有名な海鮮のお店で、昼は海鮮定食・夜は居酒屋といった雰囲気です。定食はぶり・鰆・金目鯛・太刀魚などなど10種類くらいの魚種から1品選ぶと、刺身と焼きor煮つけにしてくれます。本日の定食（太刀魚）と本日の定食（生カキ+カキフライ）を注文。
お刺身は太刀魚をメインにもう一皿タコ・イカ・ブリなどのお刺身のお皿がついていて大きなあら汁も付いてきます。やや遅れてお頭付きの太刀魚の塩焼きとカキフライがやってきました。お刺身はやや厚切りで新鮮で美味しいです。塩焼きも皮は焼き目が香ばしく身は驚くほどふっくら、塩味もちょうどよく醬油なしでも美味しいです。太刀魚の身の厚さにびっくりでした。カキフライは一つ一つはやや小ぶりですが、サクサクでタルタルソースをつけてさらにウスターソースを軽くつけてこちらも大変美味しいです。
お値段は2000円前後でランチとしては結構するなと思いましたが、行列ができる理由はよくわかります。
