[Owner and Chef Masumitsu Motoki] Origin: Kagoshima Prefecture Born in Kanoya City, Kagoshima Prefecture in 1975. After graduating from high school, he went to Osaka to learn the basics of food at Tsuji Gakuen Culinary Arts College. After training in Osaka for seven years, he became head chef of Shunsai Yamazaki Matsubara at the age of 28. In 2011, he became head chef of a welfare facility for elderly people. After that, he trained in butchering at a Japanese black beef specialty Stores, which he had been interested in for a long time. With the motto of "What you put in your mouth is the source of your body and mind," in September 2017, he opened "Wakisen Nanpu Motoki" in Kawanishi City, his wife's hometown, where you can drink delicious alcohol with a focus on Kagoshima's local cuisine. He wants to inherit the thoughts of the producers and the stories that led to it, and deliver it to the mouths of his customers. [Pastry Chef and Proprietress Masumitsu Kaori] Origin: Hyogo Prefecture Born in Kawanishi City in 1976! She studied the basics of food and confectionery at the same Tsuji Gakuen Culinary Arts School as the owner, and then trained as a pastry chef at a cake shop in Takarazuka and Italian Cuisine in Kitashinchi. After marrying the owner, she gave birth and raised children, and opened "Motoki". Here, she stands as the female pastry chef and proprietress of Motoki, fulfilling her long-held dream of "creating a comforting dessert to end a delicious and enjoyable meal, or a decorated celebratory cake that will please the guest, and bring joy to the guests." |
