Food Enjoy fresh fish sent directly from the market and a variety of special dishes made with carefully selected soup stock.
We prepare fresh seafood by communicating with the market first thing in the morning. We are particular about using raw tuna, and purchase tuna in better condition from Toyosu Market. In addition, we use kelp from Rishiri for the soup stock that serves as the base of the dish. By cooking it more slowly than usual, we brought out the flavor of the kelp. The shavings mix less tuna and bonito to create a flavorful soup stock. Don't waste your time and effort, and enjoy plenty of the items prepared in a variety of ways.

In order for you to experience the changing seasons through our dishes, we strive to create menus that incorporate the seasonal ingredients of the month. For lunch, we offer a variety of gozen, including the weekday-only ``Kitayama Gozen,'' which bears the store's name, as well as the most popular ``Miyabi Gozen,'' and ``Two Types of Grilled Fish Gozen.'' We deliver a variety of seasonal specialties by incorporating cooking methods that match the condition of the ingredients. We have a wide selection of Japanese sake, from standard to rare brands, with the premise that they go well with the food. We also purchase limited seasonal sake every month, so you can enjoy it with our special dishes made with seasonal ingredients. We also offer [Kitayama] original sake. This sake, made by Wakakoma Sake Brewery in Toyama Prefecture, is made with a focus on dryness to match Japanese food.
