江戸時代の中頃、元禄から享保年間の創業以来、約300年。１４代にわたり、一子相伝の技によるほんまもんの京名物「いもぼう」の味を守り続ける老舗。 京名物「いもぼう」とは、京のみやこで育った「海老芋」と宮中への献上品であった「棒鱈」を、抱き合わせて炊き上げる独特の調理法「夫婦炊き（めおとだき）」によって仕上げた逸品。双方の相性が非常にに良く、海老芋の灰汁（あく）が鱈を柔らかくし、棒鱈の膠質（にかわしつ
