Our restaurant is particular about using seasonal ingredients, mainly from Niigata, and uses our own unique route to get the seafood caught in the nearby waters of Teradomari and other areas.
Sui is located within a 5-minute walk from Tsubame-Sanjo Station. Our fish dishes are made with local fish that are caught in the evening and sourced through our own channels. Our fresh fish dishes ar |
For dinner on the first day of our trip to Niigata, we went to "Sakusai Iki" near Tsubame-Sanjo Station. It's Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) with a great atmosphere. The appetizers were four kinds of turban shells grilled with mayonnaise, mozuku seaweed, horse mackerel, and tamagoyaki (egg roll). They were beautiful and delicious. They went well with my wife's sake. Kagetora famous water preparation, Kotomo, etc. The sashimi was rockfish from Teradomari. It had a deep flavor. Snow crab cream Croquette. It was very creamy and delicious. It was so hot you could get burned. We finished off with Murakami beef Sukiyaki. This Sukiyaki was heavenly delicious. It was Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) where you could fully enjoy locally produced ingredients and local sake. Kitten to Issho Project https://konekotoissho.blog.jp/
