晩の一杯と締めのパスタ。 : Minami

I came to Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in the hotel for dinner and a drink. It was early, so it was empty. Well, it was quiet, so I sat at a table. Since I came to the island, I had sashimi as an appetizer and one cup of awamori as a drink. The sashimi was a three-piece platter, and the white fish was delicious. The octopus had a good bite and my jaw was tired. The sea grapes on the side are a typical Miyakojima atmosphere. Well, it was quiet, so I ate a drink while leisurely snacking and enjoying the island atmosphere. After a while, I felt like eating something, and as I was thinking about what to eat, I looked at the menu and noticed the island pepper peperoncino. It probably doesn't make much difference because it's island pepper, but I ordered it anyway. And of course, it was peperoncino. It looked nothing special. I guess that's right, so I ate it. Yes, it's just a regular peperoncino. It was delicious and my stomach felt good. Now, what should I eat next time?

As expected, for the fourth time, I tried something a little different and had rice. Apparently, the rice used here is Koshihikari from Chiba Prefecture. I'm a little excited. However, the side dishes are pretty much the same as usual, so I'm not that excited. And I also had stew for breakfast. It felt a little heavy, but I had some anyway. When I tried it, it tasted like a normal homemade stew and was quite good. I also like how the vegetables are stewed softly with a chunky texture. And the other side dishes were the same as usual, so I didn't have any problems. However, the miso soup was the type where you put your favorite ingredients in plain miso soup. Somehow, the ingredients didn't feel stewed this way, so I didn't like it. It's a shame that the rice, the most important part, wasn't soft and moist, which is my preference. It looks good, but it's a breakfast that doesn't really suit me. Well, after eating it for a while, it's not that great, and although the price has been reduced, it's quite good, so what should I do the next morning?

Well, this is my third time at the morning buffet. I thought there wouldn't be much change, but this morning it felt a little different. However, the type of bread hasn't changed. This seems to be the standard. And the side dishes have changed a little, but I personally liked the meat and potatoes. Here, the selection of drinks seemed limited. If there is coffee, I would like tea, and if there is cold sanpin tea, I would like hot Japanese tea. For both, tea bags will suffice as long as you have hot water. Well, maybe I just can't find them, but the arrangement is still a concern. Each item is delicious, so with a little more effort it seems like it could be a very comfortable place, so it's a shame. I haven't tried the rice yet, so I'll look forward to it.

On the second night, the weather was bad so I went out again. It was much quieter than yesterday. I put on gloves to prevent infection and headed to All-you-can-eat buffet corner. There didn't seem to be much change from yesterday... Today I took a bite and ate bread again. It was nice to be able to get plenty of vegetables. That said, it was a little disappointing that there were few dishes and the lack of variety. It was a hotel All-you-can-eat buffet, so as a consecutive night's guest... Well, there was a lot to choose from and it was quite tasty, and it was nice to be able to enjoy the hot food warm. However, I still felt something was missing. Hmm, what should I do tomorrow?

久しぶりに泊まったこちらでモーニングビュッフェ、お店の入り口手前のフロントに前に立つと自動で測る体温測定器があり防疫に力を入れている雰囲気です。

早くに出かけるのも人が多いのでしょうか、7時の開店当初は入店待ちの人たちが並んでいます。入ると消毒用アルコールと使い捨て手袋がありました。

ビュッフェコーナーのトングに直接触らないようになっているのです。入ってすぐに食券を渡し、トレイを取りビュッフェに向かいます。

品数はまぁ、普通かな、でも、千円の朝食にしてはややさみしいかとも思えます。まぁ、野菜類が豊富なので個人的には問題ありません。

盛り付けて見渡すと、中のテーブルや座敷は以前のとおりで、全体的には広い方かと思います。並んでいた割には普通に座れました。

とって来たおかずが洋食風だったので主食はパンです。ジャムとマーガリンが用意してありました。バターでないのが残念です。

まぁ、それぞれ普通に美味しくて気に入ったものを好きな量取れるので自分好みの朝食になるのがありがたいところでした。

朝に続き夜の利用です。やっぱり夜は居酒屋さんそのものの雰囲気です。前回サラダが美味しかったのを思い出して寄ってみました。

今回はこちらメニューから感じるちょっと変わった感じの料理です。全体的にちょっと変わった料理の中で選んだそれは、カルパッチョと海ぶどう。

美味しかったです。こういう離島の居酒屋さん的なお店で食べられたのは嬉しかったですね〜。オリーブオイルの使い方と塩味が絶妙でした。

あと、海ぶどうをオリーブオイルで食べさせるのも斬新です。ただ、こちらはバルサミコ酢あたりが欲しいところです。そこは雪塩と醤油で代用しました。

これはこれで正解で美味しくなりましたが、この工夫がなかったらせっかくの海ぶどうが残念になっていたかもしれません。

料理を持って来た時に何か説明があると、こういう珍しい出方がした時は助かります。料理を作っている人とホールスタッフの連携は？と思いました。

せっかく斬新で美味しい料理を出しているのだからもう一工夫欲しかったです。あと、こちらは喫煙に関してはかなりフリーダムに感じました。

火のついたタバコを灰皿に置いたままで飲食をしている人、店内に入って来て中央部でテレビを見ながらタバコの煙を吹き出す人がいてびっくりです。

非喫煙者には厳しいお店でした。ここの料理を堪能するには、お客さんの少ない開店直後の早い時間がいいようです。

ホテルの朝ごはんはブュッフェスタイル。まぁ、内装はレストランというより普通の居酒屋さんです。手前にテーブルとカウンター、奥に座敷があります。

中央に惣菜類、カウンターにご飯に漬け物、パンや飲み物類が並んでいます。まぁ、一般的な配置かと思います。入ってすぐ食券を渡すのも普通ですね。

おかず類は沖縄風が中心で、割と薄味で野菜が豊富に感じました。生野菜と果物もそれなりにあります。ご飯系は白飯とジューシーがありました。

味噌汁は具材を好みに入れて何も入っていない味噌汁を注ぐタイプ、その割にはいい感じにダシが出ていたように思いました。

ご飯のお供も、納豆、海苔の他に油味噌や漬物なども豊富にあるので連泊でも飽きないでしょう。そして、パン類もいろいろです。

飲み物類はほどほど、温かい飲み物がお茶とコーヒーくらいで給茶機のお茶はやっと色がついている程度だったのが残念、冷たいさんぴん茶は美味しかったです。

接客、雰囲気は普通に居酒屋さんな感じです。まぁ、朝早くからホテル内で、温かいおかずが各種あって千円以内と言うこともあり、お得感はありました。

こちらの夜利用は初めて、なんとなく混んでいるイメージでしたがそうでもありませんでした。と、言うよりガラガラです。

まぁ、沖縄的には早い時間だったからかも知れません。どこでもどうぞ、とのことでしたが一人だったのでカウンター席にしました。

そしてカウンターには灰皿が！夜は居酒屋さんなので仕方がないですね。空いてて良かった、です。で、メニューを見るといろいろな料理があります。

割と普通なのから沖縄らしいものまで、ここは島の雰囲気を感じようと珍味三点セットと島だことアンチョビのサラダに、飲み物は冷え冷えのオリオンです。

三点セットは島らっきょう、豆腐よう、カツオの塩辛で、それぞれに美味しくビールがすすみます。特に塩辛と島らっきょうを一緒に食べるとなかなか。

サラダは茹でた島だこが乗っていてところどころにアンチョビがあり、まぁ、これはこれでありでしょう。ただ普通すぎるかも知れません。

アンチョビに変えて、風味が近いカツオの塩辛を細かく切ってドレッシングに混ぜてみたら地元色が濃くなって面白いだろうと思いました。

静かに夜のひと時、美味しい料理とビールを楽しめました。次の機会が楽しみです。

ホテルのレストランでブュッフェの朝食。とはいえお店の作りが居酒屋さんのような感じ、カウンターが若干とテーブル席に座敷で綺麗でさっぱりな感じです。

和風お食事処でと考えた方がしっくりですね。スタイルは入り口を入ってすぐにお盆を取りそこから和洋沖縄なおかずを選んでいく感じ。

その奥にサラダにデザートがあり、カウンター側にご飯や汁物にパン、飲み物などが並んでいました。コーヒーはあるけど紅茶は無かったような、、、。

この手のって、初めて入ると何がどれだけあるか分かりずらいので少し見渡せる余裕があると助かります。いきなり盛りつけているとバランスが、、、。

まぁ、それほどメニューが多いわけではないのでまぁまぁなバランスと量で揃えられたかな？と思います。この日はやや洋風でしょうか。

野菜は新鮮、料理は温かく味も悪くありません。これだけいろいろ食べられてゆっくりできるので一日のスタートにとてもいいでしょう。

こちらのホテルに泊まって、パック旅行の朝食付きなので正確な料金はわかりません。

毎朝ビュッフェで利用です。飲み物各種、料理は郷土料理などいろいろあって楽しめました。特に新鮮な生野菜は旅行中にありがたく感じます。

ただ、店内が座敷のある居酒屋スタイルなので、テーブル席に座れない時はトレイを持っての移動が危なっかしい感じでした。
