[Established 43 years ago] My grandfather started the restaurant, my father made hand-made udon noodles, and I started making hand-made soba noodles.
[Attention to buckwheat] We grind the buckwheat flour as close as possible to the amount we will use, and we knead it in the way and with the water content that we think will be the most delicious, de |
About a 15-minute walk from Saitama-shintoshin Station, this restaurant is located near the entrance to the approach to Hikawa Shrine. Inside the beautiful restaurant, there are posters with alcohol and snack menus, indicating that the restaurant focuses on drinking as well. There are a variety of dishes on the menu, and it was hard to decide which was the most popular. You can choose from 28 buckwheat noodles, juwari buckwheat noodles, or udon noodles. This time, I chose Jyuwari Soba. The six kinds of Tempura including tiger prawns are colorful and gorgeous. It is crispy and delicious. The soba noodles are thick but slippery and smooth, so they go down your throat smoothly and you can feel the flavor. It is best to eat it with spicy sauce and seaweed. Nihachi Soba seems to be thinner. There are many limited time offerings and unusual snacks on the menu, and I would definitely like to come back for a drink next time. Thank you very much for the food!
