推しのコンサートがあって埼玉県に足を踏み入れることになり、昼は豪華に行こうと思案した結果、海の無い県の寿司屋に。
海の有無が寿司の味に影響するのかを確かめようと、猛暑の中店に向かいました。
12時開店で、それまでは店の外で待たなければいけないみたいなのだけど、猛暑なのできつい。
入れてくれないのかなあ。
さて入店。
暑いから飲み物は自動的にビール。そうかこれが狙いなのか。
先付けには自家製のこってりした豆腐などが出される。
これから寿司を食べるんだっていう気持ちが盛り上がってくる。
まずはイカ。
これはコリコリで噛むとキュウリみたいに音がするパリ感。
いきなりパンチかまされた感。うまい。
あとはクエとか甘海老とかアジとか。
全部美味しい。
マグロは山形のもの。
夏場は味が薄いから厚めに切ってあるのだそう。
確かにそう思う。
大将、ものすごく魚に詳しいです。
色々説明してくれるのが嬉しいし、本当にすごい人なんだと思う。
お腹周りもまるまると太ったマグロのようです。
トロはなんと大間のマグロを頂きました。
超うまい。上品な脂と旨味が口じゅうに広がります。
米粒に脂が染み渡り一体となって喉の奥に消えていく。
ああうまい。
ウニは奥尻島のもの。
これもまた絶品。
濃厚こってりで旨味もたっぷり。
こんな美味しい雲丹はいままで食べたこと無い。
さらに追加してアイナメやらトリ貝なんかを頂く。
貝は旨味が強くていいね。
美味しいから帰りたくなかったんだけど、お会計の金額でまたびっくり。
かなりお値打ちです。
本当に素晴らしいお店だと思いますね。

また行けるといいなあ。
