Suisho is my husband's favorite restaurant, and we go there about once a month. We try the standard menu items like Nagoya Cochin chicken dish and a four-piece sashimi platter, but the chicken broth ramen at the end of the meal is irresistible. Even if you go alone, there is a counter, so you won't feel lonely as you can talk to the friendly owner. Of course, it's also great to enjoy it with friends in a tatami room for a year-end Ramen! Also, I don't drink alcohol, so I'm not sure, but they have a wide selection of shochu, and you can get shochu with turtle juice.
