The extremely fresh local chicken dishes are popular! A relaxed Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) where you can also have lunch
The restaurant is crowded with office workers during lunchtime, and in the evenings it is used for a wide range of occasions, such as for casual drinks, dates, families, and parties. The most popular |
This restaurant is located on the outbound lane of National Route 11 in Kawauchi-cho. It is located on the north side of Kawauchi Million. I wonder if it's an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that mainly serves chicken dishes? I passed by at lunchtime and saw that they were open for lunch, so I thought it would be a good time to stop by for lunch. Since it was my first visit, I wasn't sure what they recommended, but I thought the daily lunch would be a good choice, so I checked the menu on the sign in front of the entrance and saw that it was minced meat cutlet, and went inside to try ordering it. When I entered the restaurant, it was surprisingly modern, and since I was alone, I was guided to the counter, where a few people could sit. The kitchen was in front of the counter, so it was a bit noisy... As I sat at the counter, they brought me cold water right away, so I ordered the daily lunch and decided to wait for a while. The kitchen is right in front of me, so I can't help but see inside, but there are two chefs working in the kitchen. They cook with masks on their chins, but I wish they would think about it when there are customers sitting at the counter. After about 10 minutes, the daily lunch was brought to my seat. They told me that I could have as much rice and soup as I wanted. It's a great deal for a 550 yen lunch, so I think they're being too generous by offering as much as I want (lol). It sounds great to rice lovers, though. The lunch consisted of Small dish meat cutlet, salad, a side dish, and soup, which I think was a normal amount. I started with the main dish of minced meat cutlet, but it wasn't what I thought it would be. If anything, it was more like a minced meat cutlet. There was no minced meat flavor at all. It didn't suit my taste, but maybe some people like it. The salad and Small dish were delicious, but the soup was too bland and I couldn't really tell what it tasted like. Maybe my palate is just stupid... Second servings were allowed, but I managed to finish it without asking for a second serving. I don't know if it's always this quality or if it was just today, but I should have just gone for the fried chicken lunch (sad). I paid the bill and left the restaurant thinking that next time I come here, I'd like to have a regular set meal. Thank you for the meal.
