On this day, I visited Matsutsuruya, a 5-minute walk from the east exit of Shinjuku Station. My boyfriend and I talked about wanting to have a drink at Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) for the first time in a while, so we went to this restaurant that he recommended. I was really looking forward to visiting the restaurant, as it seems to be Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that serves very core Kyushu specialties. All seats in the store are semi-private rooms. Therefore, I was able to enjoy free conversation without having to worry about being seen. [Order menu] - Sesame amberjack (¥880) - Gatsu sashimi (¥680) - Hakata mentaiko (¥580) - Mustard lotus root (¥630) - Assorted sashimi (¥1500) - Radish with fish miso (¥680)・Magun minced tempura (¥680) ・Chicken Nanban (¥780) ・Jigokumushi (¥980) ・Masu Sushi (¥490) *Sesame Amberjack Amberjack pickled in a sesame-flavored sauce. The fragrant aroma of sesame seeds and the rich taste of amberjack go perfectly together! It's perfect for drinking alcohol. *Mustard lotus root This is a mustard lotus root with a distinctive spicy mustard flavor. I can't get enough of the crispy texture. *Assorted Sashimi This is an extremely fresh sashimi platter. The color of the sashimi is very beautiful and you can clearly tell that it is fresh.
