If you want to taste the real thing, this Lanzhou Ramen restaurant is run by a Lanzhou local...
Our restaurant adheres to the local Lanzhou methods, using carefully selected high-quality beef and Wagyu beef bones, and is proud of its clear soup, which is carefully simmered for a long time with m |
Arrived around 12:00 on Monday, the last day of Golden Week. I was able to get in without waiting. I was unsure about the ticket machine, but I decided on Lanzhou Qingtang Beef Noodles for 1,000 yen (tax included). I chose thick noodles with chili oil and coriander. The bowl arrived in about 10 minutes. Since I chose thick noodles, it took a while. I took a sip of the soup. The soup was salty with a refined umami flavor and was delicious with plenty of chili oil. I think it would be a good match for those who like light Ramen. The noodles were very wide and flat, with a very pleasant and delicious texture. The toppings were thinly sliced beef, radish, and coriander. The beef had a dry texture. The coriander went quite well with the soup. When I went there, most (probably all) of the customers, as well as the staff, were Chinese. There are many delicious Ramen restaurants in Japan, but when it comes to places where you can enjoy Chinese noodles at a level that is just as good as the real thing, there are surprisingly few.
