I had wanted to try soft-shelled turtle for a long time, but my wife made a reservation for me, so I went to the famous soft-shelled turtle restaurant, Tsuchida in Asakusa. I ordered the "Suppon Course Fuku," a course that allows you to enjoy both soft-shelled turtle and fugu (blowfish). The atmosphere of the restaurant was exactly like that of a long-established restaurant, and there were many autographs of people who had visited the restaurant. It was a cold day, but there was a heater at the foot of the table, so we didn't feel cold. We had two appetizers: simmered wax gourd with minced chicken and grilled yam with miso. The wax gourd was well seasoned, and the yam was grilled crispy, so we were in a good mood. soft-shelled turtle This is also an appetizer, but it was a rare part of soft-shelled turtle.
