Iriya [Iriya Kishimojinmae Nodaya] Introducing the charm of the store! This shop is located 1 minute from Iriya Station. My parents, who love eel from Kyushu, came to Tokyo to see the 100 Famous Eel Restaurants that I had always wanted to visit, so I decided to make a reservation a month in advance and decided that this would be my only chance! It's really close to the station. Since I had made a reservation for the course, I was guided to a separate counter seat and was given an explanation of today's eel. I'm looking forward to the performance where they'll tear apart the steamed rice cakes right in front of my eyes! ️ I heard that there is an even more special type of eel called Aoi Unagi, which is a masterful eel from Mikawa Isshiki called Kanemitsu, which is fed with soy isoflavones in its compounded feed, so I asked them for some eel juju! This is the only place you can eat it in Tokyo, so make sure to have a special experience! It has a fluffy yet sticky texture and a good amount of fat, which goes perfectly with the sweet and spicy sauce! ️ I can't get enough of it when I sprinkle it with Japanese pepper!! ️ ◽︎Shirayaki I had it with wasabi! The crispy skin is perfectly grilled! It was a treat to have a quick look at the craftsman's grilling process ✨ Shirayaki branded eel is something special! ◽︎Seasonal Fruits Strawberry and Melon I'm so happy to finish my meal with seasonal fruits! It was the first time in my life that I was at a counter where I could watch the eel being ``seared'' and ``kushiuchi'' right in front of me, so I was very impressed! My parents were happy too, and as expected from a well-established store! ️ It's a special space that you'll want to use on special days!
