台東区にあるうなぎの名店に来ました。
お店の奥に隠れたカウンターのみの別亭があります。
この隠し部屋には多くの芸能人が来られているようで
サインが沢山貼って有りました。
そしてこちらのお部屋を予約しますと
カウンターの目の前で捌いてくれる様子をライブで観る事ができます。
今回はラッキーな事に岡山産の天然うなぎが入荷されていました。
この辺りはタイミングですが
天然うなぎが無くなる前に来られてよかったです。
今回は天然と養殖の味比べが出来るよう
葵かねみつというコースにしました。
お重に天然と養殖の両方が半分づつ入ったものになりますが僕にその違いが判別出来るでしょうか?
芸能人格付けチェックのような気分です。
鰻重の他に 酢漬けと3種盛りの珍味も頂きました。
この酢漬けはかなりおすすめです。
そのまま頂いても
わさびを乗せても
梅餡につけても
どれもサッパリ頂けてこれから夏の季節には
食欲増加致します。
3種の珍味の肝の甘露煮は生山椒が良く合います。
さて鰻に戻りますが
うなぎの焼き上がりにも立ち会わせて頂きました。
職人のプロの技を観て
まもなく運ばれて来る
うなぎをを楽しみに待ちました。
さて来ました。
手前が天然(兼光)
奥が養殖(青江)です。
圧倒的に天然の方が柔らかくて
肉厚で美味しさが
こんなに違うのかと まざまざと
感じる事ができました。
天然うなぎの食感を頭の中に叩き込んで帰りたいと思います。
皮から身までこんなに違うのにびっくりです。
貴重な天然うなぎを頂けて幸せです。
大満足のゴールデンウィークでしす。
