With its black lacquer and latticework, it has an impressive exterior reminiscent of a storehouse. When you step into the store, you'll be greeted by an interior that combines traditional methods with modern design. In addition to traditional wooden boards and clay walls, crafts that have been cherished in people's lives, such as ``Iwate Hanamaki Kokeshi dolls'' and ``Nutcrackers,'' create a warm atmosphere. The cozy Japanese space with its hearth was designed with consideration to being gentle on the mind and body, just like craft beer and Japanese-style meal.

Akatsuki Brewery's beer focuses on flavor, just like Japanese-style meal. Rather than having a strong taste due to bitterness, sourness, or carbonic acid, we aim to create a gentle aroma, complex flavor, and a relaxing taste so that it can be easily matched with Japanese ingredients that are familiar to us. Even people who don't like beer have praised it as an ``easy-drinking beer.''
Food Ingredients where you can see the faces of the producers
Akatsuki Taps' ingredients are mainly sourced from production areas that we are close friends with. We received seaweed from Taro Fisheries Cooperative in Miyako City, Iwate Prefecture, guinea fowl and platinum pork from Hanamaki City, chicken from Sumita Tori, Oyster from Hirota Bay in Rikutakata, and fish from Sanriku, all of which we received through support activities in the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake. We also offer Akatsuki beer and casual Japanese-style meal.
DrinkWhat is Akatsuki Brewery?
It was established in Kyodo in 2016 as Setagaya's first brewery. What we are brewing is unfiltered beer. Unfiltered beer has the advantage of being highly nutritious and rich in flavor, but because yeast fermentation is constantly progressing, it differs slightly each time. I hope you enjoy the changes as well. In addition, the auxiliary raw materials we use are products of natural cultivation without fertilizers or pesticides. We conduct research and development every day to deliver safe and healthy beer.
