I enjoyed a night in Kochi at Daikokudo. I managed to sit at the counter in a lively shop. I thought I was going to eat seared bonito, but the staff at the restaurant kept coming back with recommendations, especially Shimizu mackerel. I ordered this because the staff at the shop said it was as delicious as Seki mackerel. When I ate the glistening sashimi, it was crunchy, fatty, and delicious. It took a while for the food to come out, probably because there weren't many employees, but they were kind enough to bring me some seared bonito with salt and soy sauce. The skin was very fragrant and thick, but it was delicious. I guess I'm a little anxious. The onedan is also affordable and recommended.
